General Assembly was a consumer focused online tech bootcamp (private career college) where I held a number of roles.
During my time as a Career Coach and Outcomes Program Manager, I took many steps to improve how program performance and results. This included refreshing and restructuring training content, more frequent events, new partnerships, etc.
In return, the participants of the Outcomes Program voted me as the ‘Most Helpful Career Coach’. I took great pride in this as I felt a duty of care to ensure the participants received the best guidance during rapidly changing times as it was their career at stake.
These changes were also reflected in the Net Promotor Score, which increased from 5 (detractor) to 9 (promotor).

Throughout my career, I have had the opportunity to present and speak on panels sharing the knowledge I’d accumulated to help guide the audience through whatever the subject matter may be.
This led me to speak alongside industry leaders at some of the biggest and most innovative companies.
Whenever I speak publicly, I try to lead with humility and empathy. I’ll never claim to know everything but will happily share whatever I can to help someone on their journey.
